Georgia Ka’apuni McMillen was born in 1957 and raised
in Hawai`i. Her first novel, School for Hawaiian Girls is
set in Honolulu and North Kohala. The Permanent Press published it
in 2005 to critical acclaim. Her subsequent books include House
of the Sun and I’ll Stop the World. She lives on
Maui with her family.
